Spell Pals (“we”, “us”, or “our”) is a word puzzle game by ikas. This policy explains how the app handles information.
Spell Pals stores game progress, unlocked pets, virtual currency, completed challenges, and settings locally on your device. We do not require an account or ask you to provide a name, email address, or other profile information to play.
Optional in-app purchases are processed by Apple. We receive transaction information needed to deliver the item, such as the purchased product identifier and verification status. We do not receive or store your payment-card details.
Spell Pals may use Google Mobile Ads to display banner, interstitial, and rewarded advertisements. If enabled in the released version, the advertising provider and its partners may collect device identifiers, IP address, approximate location derived from IP address, ad interaction data, and diagnostics to deliver, measure, personalize, and prevent fraud in advertising.
Where required, we request permission through Apple’s App Tracking Transparency prompt before accessing the advertising identifier for tracking. You can change this permission at any time in iOS Settings. Rewarded items are granted only after an ad provider reports that the reward was earned.
Local game data is used to operate and restore the game. Purchase information is used to deliver purchased content. Advertising data is used by the advertising provider to serve, measure, and protect ads, subject to its own privacy policy and your consent choices.
We do not sell personal information ourselves. Information may be processed by Apple for purchases and by advertising providers only when their services are enabled in the app. We require service providers to handle information consistently with applicable law.
Local game data remains on your device until you delete the app or clear its data. Purchase records are retained by Apple according to Apple’s policies. Advertising providers retain information according to their own policies. To request help with a privacy question or deletion request, contact us using the address below.
Spell Pals is not directed at children under the minimum age required by applicable law for personalized advertising. If the app is configured for a child-directed audience, we will use the advertising provider’s applicable child-directed settings and obtain any required consent before collecting personal data.
We may update this policy when the app or its data practices change. We will post the updated policy and effective date on this page.
